Pieter was born in the Netherlands and has a degree in Agriculture. He has travelled already a lot (lived and worked in Australia , New Zealand , Turkey and the last 12 years in Brazil ) and also has visited all major European countries, as well other countries in South America .

Because of all these travels (how could it be different), he speaks fluently Portuguese, English, Spanish and German.

The past 12 years in Brazil , he worked for an American multinational as Divisional General Manager, and this gave him a vast experience in how the corporate world works. At his own request he resigned from the company, so he could dedicate himself to his personal project, being combine his passion for sailing with a desire to share these nautical experiences with other people.

Pieter is a licensed Captain and has completed an intensive first aid course.
